Meet Your Guide
Well-rounded and versatile in her talents, Allison Haigler, founder and designer of Barnacle Web Design is an artist, designer, and educator by trade.
Prior to Barnacle, she was co-founder and lead web builder for Launch Marketing. Leading up to digital design, Allison was an educator in a variety of settings and, during her college years, studied science, art, and cultural anthropology. Looking back, she now realizes that her life's path has been always about community and communication. Her unique blend of skills and interests have also led her down a path as an entrepreneur for Pelagic Art.
“My love is to play with colors, fonts, images, layout, and copy to represent whatever it is our clients offer. My work at Barnacle Web Design combines all my past experiences and everything that I’ve built on because I get to continue educating the public by presenting information from organizations in a way that is engaging and understandable.”
In addition to her work as a designer, Allison is a gardener, knitter, soap maker, book binder, and crafter of all kinds. She is a descendant of her Dutch and Métis ancestors.
